Wollongong at Shared Services & Outsourcing Week 2015
Shared Services and Outsourcing Week 2015 is Australasia’s largest shared services event. Held on 10-12 June 2015 at Pullman Albert Park, Melbourne Victoria, Advantage Wollongong exhibited at the conference after the success of the 2014 conference. Approximately 400 shared service professionals from global business services, finance, HR, procurement, customer service and IT were in attendance. The event is held by the international Shared Services & Outsourcing Network which is the largest and most established community of shared services and outsourcing professionals.

Advantage Wollongong activity at the 2015 SSOW event included:
- exhibition stand for general promotion of the region to conference delegates
- hosting a VIP dinner for 14 conference delegates. The dinner offered AW partners a direct connection with industry decision makers and opportunity to promote the region's advantages to these delegates.
- a representative participating in a 40 minute plenary session Panel discussion on `Destination' for Shared Services Locations.
- 12 one on one private meetings with delegates
Advantage Wollongong partners were supported at the event by representatives from the Illawarra Chapter of AusContact and ICT Illawarra and Wollongong based company Selera Labs was also present at the conference. A `Wollongong is Shared Services' brochure was developed for the event and covered the key advantages of Wollongong as a location for Shared Services operations.
