Advantage Wollongong joins local IT businesses at CeBIT 2017.

Advantage Wollongong and three local IT companies showcased Wollongong’s IT expertise at CeBIT, Australia’s largest IT industry event in Sydney from May 23-25 held at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

This is the sixth year that Advantage Wollongong has featured Wollongong’s IT capabilities at CeBIT, after being the first city to exhibit there in 2012.

Wollongong Lord Mayor, Councillor Gordon Bradbery said attendance at CeBIT gave Advantage Wollongong the opportunity to demonstrate to the industry that Wollongong is a superior location for IT companies.

“Advantage Wollongong’s regular presence at CeBIT has generated a significant level of both national and international exposure,” Councillor Bradbery said. “Wollongong is now firmly on the radar in this space.”

Three Wollongong IT companies are also exhibiting at CeBIT 2017, including Me3D, Screen Dopamine and Safety Compass in the Start-up Alley.
